The BMA pilot dryer is the latest state of the art measuring instruments

developed in close co-operation with our customers and research institutes.

The origin of its design forms the scientific calculated size and shape

on the air duct resulting a distinctive shape with an obvious interchangeable left (=heater) and right  (=sample) section, a control cabinet in the middle and a special designed air duct on top. All to guarantee a uniform airflow through the product bed and maintain uniform process parameters.

 

The BMA pilot dryer includes numerous measuring and control instruments to

measure independently the influence of:

Airflow-velocity
Airflow-temperature
Airflow-humidity
Airflow-direction.

 

The system furthermore uniquely allows the online measurement of product temperature and weight.

 

The pilot dryer is capable of processing market size samples and results can be used to improve full-scale process parameters such as retention time, drying temperatures, airflow volumes and speed, in order to minimise operating costs and increase product quality.
