BMA Nederland provides service throughout the whole life-cycle of the product. As global competition intensifies, many industrial companies are redefining their core competencies, restructuring to focus on those competencies that add value to the business.

 

This leads many of our industrial clients to outsource more and more engineering and maintenance in an effort to convert fixed costs to variable costs. In response, we are expanding our services to provide first class engineering and maintenance capabilities our customers formerly maintained in-house. Many customers have outsourced the complete maintenance of their equipment to BMA.

 

The installation of the BMA products in the plant of the customer is carried out by experienced staff from the BMA service organization. The service team is also responsible for the commissioning of the equipment and the training of the operators.

 

The service coordinators in our Woerden (NL) facility are the first point of contact between the customer and BMA in the area of after-sales-service. They organize the supply of spare- parts and coordinate the service jobs of the service engineers in order to ensure quick reaction-times and efficient use of the available resources.

 

The service engineers are based either in Woerden or in Almelo and have completely equipped service vans with the necessary tools and a stock of standard spare parts at their disposal.

 

 

 




 

Nowadays the PLC controls play an important role in the efficiency of the equipment. BMA have built up considerable know-how in the supply of PLC equipment and especially in the development of PLC control software. The BMA service organization works closely together with the engineering department to carry out software modifications to adapt the equipment to new tasks (e.g. new recipes) and further optimise plant performance.

 

The feedback from our service engineers to the engineering department is an important tool in the continuous improvement process of the BMA products.
